The yellow goosefish Lophius litulon is a demersal marine fish distributed in the northwestern Pacific. A study found no significant differences in genetic structure between two geographical populations in the Yellow Sea and the Sea of Japan (see Ji et al., 2007 in (Zhang et al. 2022)), but other thatn that, the population structure is not clear. This profile focuses on the assessments performed in the Western Yellow Sea and Bohai Sea, mainly from the Shandong province (Wang et al. 2020)(Zhang et al. 2022).
