The stock structure of Goldstripe sardinella (Sardinella gibbosa) is unknown and the species is distributed through the Indian and West Pacific oceans (Sebastian et al. 2018).
Management in Thailand is differenciated between the Gulf of Thailand fisheries and the Andaman Sea fisheries (Kulanujaree et al. 2020), therefore, two profiles for the species are available for Thailand:
