Parasites as biological tags allowed the identification of two biological stocks along the Atlantic South American coast: in Southern Brazil and Uruguai/Argentina (Timi et al. 2005 and Timi 2007). The stock was assessed in Brazil in 2005 (Cergole et al. 2005).
