Flower sand crab, blue swimming crab
Blue swimming crab is exploited in Tunisia mainly in the Gulf of Gabès (Abdallah et al. 2024), but also in other regions of the country by trap fisheries (Mili 2021). No biological stock identity or assessment has been found for the species in the region, only some studies about the species occurence and reproductive biology (Hadj Hamida et al. 2022).
