A recent study on the stock structure of Arabian red shrimp (Aristeus alcocki) using truss morphometry in several locations of the south part of India discriminated a population in the southwestern India region (Kalamuku area) (Purushothaman et al. 2017) and some population dynamics have been undertaken in this region (Chakraborty et al. 2018).
