COMMON NAMES
Titi shrimp, camarón pomada
There are two major fishing fleets dedicated to harvest shrimp, including the shrimp ("Langostino") trawl vessels and the titi shrimp ("Pomada") trawl vessels. Although this is a mixed fishery, targeting mainly Titi shrimp but also other species such as the Pacific seabob (MA, 2012), the only species known to have been biologically studied is the titi shrimp (e.g. Chicaiza et al. 2009). No specific management plan is known for this species.
