The FIP came together to produce SOPs for crab data collection; the session, led by a BRIN researcher, included training enumerators on catch composition recording, biometric data collection, and operational specifications, with hands-on practice to ensure accurate and consistent data collection.

The FIP held a stakeholder meeting wherein the East Kalimantan Blue Swimming Crab Management Board was established which will oversee the implementation of a draft action plan.

The FIP conducted a training session for fishers in an effort to introduce the MSC certification concept, enhance their understanding of sustainable marine resources and encourage participation in collaborative sustainability efforts.
